Yamaha are one of the most prestigiously renowned musical instrument manufacterurs in the world, with a phenomenal 125 years of constructing these musical insutruments. Yamaha carry this highly regarded reputation in their HiFi component constructions also. The A-S201 integrated amplifer was constructed upon the basis of this experience and technological expertise. The A-S201 was designed with Yamaha's concept of 'Natural Sound' all the way through its construct, fo reproducing all music files as they really sound. Built with highly intricately thought out circuit designs to basic sound production, the A-S201 reproduces a high sound quality and a musically rich sound (despite being an entry-level model)
100W × 2 High Output Power* and High Sound Quality Circuit Design
The A-S201, drives speakers with a power that's generally considered to be way above it's class. With a hefty 100W* x 2 high drive power, the A-S201 produces a high sound qualilty that minimises the length of signal routes and actually optimises the circuit's layout. Yamaha have positioned the power transformer close to the power amp circuit, which then reduces power loss but improves peak power supply capcity, which then in turn enables a high volume output. The signal ground and power supply ground are connected at one point, eliminating mutual interference to achieve a higher S/N ratio. The result is sound filled with clarity and a feeling of openness.

Phono MM Terminal for Vinyl Playback and Screw-type Speaker Terminals
The A-S201 has an integrated MM phono input terminal to enable connection with a hifi turntable. In total, there are five input terminals which means that it can be the central unit for different types of audio playback systems. Also, it's large screw-type speaker terminals provide firm connections with thick speaker cables
