The new R7 Mk3 builds upon the solid foundations of its predecessor but adds refined aesthetics and sound quality. It can play music from a myriad of different sources with support for CD's, DAB Radio, Spotify and streaming audio. When paired with one or more Ruark R2's the R7 can form the heart of a multi-room system and with an optional TV stand upgrade, it can be used as the base of a home cinema system. The sound comes from a 120W Class A/B amplifier fed into two 140mm drivers and a dedicated 200mm subwoofer not to mention the built-in phonostage

MRx also features a combined 3.5mm optical and analogue input which allows auxiliary devices to be connected easily, included Amazon Alexa and Google Chromecast Audio, it also features a multi-purpose USB socket for playback from memory sticks or to charge/power your smart device.

From the years of experience, Ruark has with developing speakers, they have worked tirelessly to create a system which they believe will exceed expectations. creating new speaker drivers based on the technology used in the award-winning MR1.

The MRx can also be controlled from Ruark's new app for iOS and Android devices, as well as being multi-room compatible with other Ruark systems such as the R2 and R7 we already know and love. Designed to fit in your room where space allows, you can position the MRx either landscape or portrait mode, and available in a choice of two finishes, Rich Walnut veneer or soft grey lacquer.

Ruark Link App

Ruark has developed an app called Ruark Link, allowing you to wirelessly connect your mobile device to your Ruark system. Once downloaded you will be greeted on an 'Audio System' screen, allowing you to connect to your Ruark device of choice. Some devices have different options than others. The MRx, R2, R4 and R7 will be available to use on App. The app has quite a diverse amount of choices such as Spotify Connect, Internet Radio, DAB/FM and much more.

Who is Ruark?

Ruark Audio is a family-owned British company, founded in 1986, well known for their specialist speakers ranges, now specialise in compact lifestyle radio systems. The company found massive success with the launch of their first unit, the R1, which has since evolved into its third rendition. Shortly after the R1 was launched, a multitude of larger and more prolific products began to appear on Ruark's catalogue and soon after, the same products would be seen in kitchens, bedrooms, offices and living rooms all over the world.
