The handcrafted Rega RB220 tonearm uses the newly designed arm tube and the current three-point arm system, which achieves a better sound. For its price point, the RB202 achieves extremely low friction levels, which also meets the minimum mass requirements. Due to the low friction levels, many parts of the arm are very fragile, therefore need to be handled with care.

Who is Rega?

Rega is a specialist hifi manufacturer based in Essex, UK and are renowned for developing and constructing some of the most highly regarded turntables (as well as cartridges and tonearms), electronics and loudspeakers available on the hifi market today. Rega was founded in 1973, and have honed their craft over many years of being a leading brand in every category they put a product to.

Rega design, engineer and put together their own range of turntable components and are world-renowned for doing so at a superior level. In conjunction to enhanced chassis and motor design principles, Rega takes meticulous care in putting together their tonearm and cartridge models. Many of these units can and are often used in conjunction with non-Rega turntable models.
