The Ania is a state-of-the-art moving coil phono cartridge, designed by Rega and inspired by their highly successful Apheta 2 and Aphelion MC phono cartridges. The Ania's tiny micro coil is hand-wound and housed within a highly rigid body made from a unique PPS. This guarantees an accurate construction, while Rega's three-point mounting method ensures that the best possible connection to the headshell is achieved. 

The Ania MC cartridge features a super high-powered neodymium magnet and a coil hand-wound on to an iron cross. This tiny yet highly precise assembly allows for a greater level of freedom when tracking the grooves of your vinyl record, resulting in greater depth and more detail extracted from within these grooves. The stylus itself is elliptical in shape and diamond tipped, seated at the end of a quality cantilever.
