The Concept 500 is first premium-level floorstanding loudspeaker from Q Acoustics, who have become renowned in their market for offering superlative speaker models at extremely comfortable prices. The company now raise the bar, bringing the same design philosophy to a new league of hifi superiority. 

One of the significant upgrades over the entry-level Q Acoustics models can be seen in the 500's cabinet construction. Benefiting from a Dual Gelcore sandwich construction across each later of MDF, utilising a gel specifically designed to absorb and dissipate unwanted resonance and vibration, the 500's cabinet is sturdy and acts as the ultimate housing for its impressive driver units. 

The two main mid/bass woofers make use of a low-distortion construction, measuring 16.5cm in size and seated within a newly developed rubber surround. Despite their relatively compact size, the 500 speakers are able to offer a dynamic and engaging sound at all volumes, thanks to the careful attention and superior engineering that these drivers and this cabinet are built with.
