Using materials and techniques from ProJects high-end turntables, the T1 is a premium turntable at an affordable price.

The T1 uses a solid CNC-machined plinth, to remove unwanted vibrations, a precision belt drive system, to ensure a steady speed and the same bearing used in their award-winning Essential III turntable. A new 8.6" aluminium tonearm is used on the T1, with an improved gimbal assembly and low friction components. Your vinyl sits on a new, heavy, 8mm zero-resonance glass platter to ensure your records stay perfectly stable. Creating the ideal playback surface.

A high-quality turntable is provided straight out of the box, with preinstalled Connect-It E RCA Phono cables and a tonearm which has been preset for downforce and anti-skating. Removing the need for any complicated setup.

Who is Project?

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
