The PM6006 from Marantz builds upon the outstanding quality and high standards set by its predecessor, the PM6005. The pre-amp and power-amp sections of the 6006 are identical to the earlier model, following a strong 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' philosophy - these sections feature discrete components with no IC used within the signal path, ensuring a top quality level of amplification.
The CD6006 builds upon the technological feats of the 6005 but sees the integration of superior components and a more refined circuit layout when compared to its award winning predecessor. Sometimes, the finest details make the largest impact, and with the implementation of more rigid feed - resonance is drastically reduced resulting in a more dynamic sound response.
ELAC are a German manufacturer of high quality loudspeakers, renowned for their life-like and natural sound response. This is achieved through a the company's uncompromising design philosophy, a simple yet highly effective effort to every element of the manufacturing process: manual dexterity, ingenuity, an eye for quality, short routes, high levels of vertical manufacturing. The Debut series is described by Elac as being a 'family of performers' and compromises of five models in total. These include two pairs of bookshelf speakers, a floor-stander, a centre channel and a Doby-Atmos enabled model. These speakers can then be complimented by a choice of three high quality subwoofers, allowing the listener to form a truly immersive and dynamic listening experience in both home cinema and stereo two channel applications.
Chord's most recent loudspeaker release is titled 'C-Screen' and is designed to retain the integrity of sound being passed from your amplifier to your speakers at a superior quality, all the while not breaking the bank. The C-Screen will perform equally well when used in two channel hifi listening and in multichannel surround sound home theatre applications.
The C-Line interconnect from cable-experts The Chord Company, is one of their most exciting releases yet. The C-Line utilises the company's genius ARAY engineering techniques, and exists to be the first interconnect to offer this innovative technology at such an accessible price point. Other unique and Chord-specific cabling technologies used within the C-Line include fully floating high density shielding, ultra-reliable over-moulded strain relief, unique direct gold-plating technology with pseudo-balanced, oxygen free copper conductors.
