The Elac features Air motion transformer tweeters, first developed in the 1970's and made up of a folded polymer sheet structered around aluminium struts in a high power magnetic field. Elac know it as the JET.
The BS403 features the new designed JET 5 tweeters make there debut in this range of loudspeaker from Elac. they also feature a newly developed loudspeaker chassis for better performance in low and mid frequency range to match the JET 5 tweeter. The sleek, discrete design the BS403 also features a downward facing port which fires to a base plate.
