Dynavector DV-20X2 MC Cartridge
The new Dynavector DV-20X2 Moving Coil Cartridge features a solid aluminium body, which is similar to the legendary XX2. The 6mm cantilever is housed on hard aluminium pipe which features a Micro-Ridge stylus which offers a wide dynamic range and low distortion.
Magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism, in conjunction with powerful neodymium magnets, allow the 20-XH a hearty, yet the healthy output of 2.8mV that is ideal for a majority of MM inputs. The 20-X2 has an output of 0.3mV which is suited to a large array of Moving Coil (MC) inputs.
Both high and low versions of their 20X2 are available to ensure for the optimum end result. If you have a valve preamplifiers or electronics which have Moving Magnet inputs, the High Output model will be most suited for the system. Compared to the Low Output model, which is superb with dedicated moving coil inputs.
