The latest ONE HD has been designed with the space-conscious audiophile in mind and features a newly designed 4th generation Class D amplifier, capable of offering suitable loudspeakers with a rich and dynamic 2 x 100 watts of power. The ONE HD is built to be both convenient and versatile with its connectivity options. Audiophile-grade lossless aptX Bluetooth codec guarantees a CD-quality transmission of audio files or streaming apps from a compatible smartphone directly to the amplifier, while 4 line inputs and a Moving Magnet phono stage allow for the connection of a turntable as well as a CD player and dedicated streamer etc. 

The HD model features digital inputs like an Asynchronous USB input, Optical and Coaxial for all your digital needs. 

The headphone amplification stage of the ONE HD has also received special attention. It's high power, high voltage class AB design will drive essentially all headphones without struggle and to a deserving standard of quality. The headphone socket is conveniently located on the front of the machine, so it's easy to enjoy the quality of Cyrus for a personal listening experience.

KEF Q550

KEF is a highly renowned, multi-award winning loudspeaker manufacturer, whose high quality products can be found all over the world. They were founded in Maidstone, Kent in 1961 by electrical engineer Raymond Cooke, who was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. The KEF name comes from Kent Engineering & Foundry, who were previous occupants of the KEF site. The company have designed loudspeakers for the BBC, and have a vast range of products at many different price points.

The newly developed Q Series from KEF builds upon the high sonic and aesthetic standards set by its predecessor, seeing improvements across essentially all of the internal componentry and a smoother more luxurious finish. 

KEF's world-famous Uni-Q driver technology can be found at the heart of each Q series speaker, now with the implementation of improved dampening of the tweeter loading tube. This is engineered to offer a soft termination of any unwanted sound that may otherwise be produced from the rear of the tweeter module. Lower-end high frequency performance is dramatically improved while the new low-distortion inductor found on the crossover guarantees a cleaner, more controlled bass response than previous KEF models and speakers from competitor brands in the same price point and above. The Q Series' low frequency drivers possess a larger roll surround and a new spider suspension to guarantee that the high performance bass response of the Q series loudspeaker is not compromised at higher volumes. 

Combining true engineering prowess with luxurious design, the Q series is available in a soft-touch satin black or satin white finish, while its full aesthetic profile boasts a minimalist and premium appearance with seamless, sleek cabinets that do not show any visible fittings or joins. 

The Q550 is the slimmer floor standing model in the newly launched Q series from KEF. The intelligently designed Q550 features one Uni Q driver array for treble and midrange frequencies, working alongside 3 additional bass/mid woofers to offer a full-range and dynamic sound complete with all of the detail and impressive stereo imaging that KEF are acclaimed for achieving. Internally the drivers are housed within dedicated, closed-box sections. This design reduces the load on the UniQ midrange cone and helps to form the outstanding level of clarity and detail that the Q550 excels at.
