The PV1-D builds upon the superior standards set by its predecessor, the PV1, while retaining its stylish and iconic aesthetic. This visual appearance is not just for fashionable purposes however, the shape of the PV1 and subsequent PV1-D has been designed to aid the bass response using specially designed acoustic ergonomics. 

One of the most dramatic updates the PV1-D sees is the move to a digital platform, developed initially for the top-of-the-range DB1 subwoofer from Bowers & Wilkins. This digital amplification when combined with new drive units and various other performance enhancements equal an astounding result. 

Set-up and fine-tuning the response of the subwoofer is done with ease, thanks to the newly developed OLED display and touch-button functionality, while a custom designed SubApp PC software allows for an even more advanced set-up process.
