Audio Technica VM750SH Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge
The VM750SH is part of Audio Technica's new 'VM cartridge line' and this particular cartridge comes with a VM dual magnet cartridge with the Shibata stylus. The Shibata stylus provides a much greater surface contact with the record groove than the standard elliptical stylus you find on a lot of cartridges. You will find the Shibata stylus on the much higher end cartridges Audio Technica offer. This cartridge comes with an aluminium tapered cantilever and paraboloidal coils which help to generate efficiency dramatically. There is a centre shield plate between the left and right channels which helps reduce the crosstalk. The die-cast aluminium alloy housing reduces vibration and adds a natural electrical shield.
